This 6 inch cable is designed to adapt newer PS/2-style keyboards to older DIN5 (AT) motherboard connections. Just plug the male DIN5 end into the appropriate port on your computer, and plug your PS2 keyboard into that. You can now use your newer keyboard on your older computer.
